In infrared mode, the unit has a temperature range of -67°F to 482°F (+/- 2°F), a 1/2-second response time, 3:1 spot to distance ratio, and 0.5-degree resolution. Fold out the 4” stem probe, and you can take product core temperatures; the probe has a range of -67°F to 686°F, accurate to within +/- 1°F. Other features include a min/max HACCP warning light, hold, and auto shut-off. The compact dual mode probe digital thermometer is a little more than 6-1/4” in length, operates on two AAA batteries (included), and comes with a carrying case.
