Vintage Circa 1940's Large Size Butchering or Carving Knife, Unmarked Full Tang Sharp Blade Possibly Made by Cutco

Very hard to distinguish but this knife has a patent number burned into the ergonomic handle of 2,390,544 which was registered for use with a variety of CutCo knives and serving utensils. The steel is good and takes an edge but there is some pitting to the very tip that can be worked out if desired. The business end is in good condition. The handle seems like it is a very hard wood that has been carved to accommodate a hand better when using it. Measures 13" with the blade at 8"
