Molecular sieves are crystalline metal aluminosilicates with a three-dimensional interconnecting network of silica and alumina tetrahedra. They are over-sized to lock perfectly into BHOGART Filter Plates. This prevents any solvent from passing by without being filtered. BHOGART Screens are available in all the microns for 2″, 3″, 4″ and 6″ BHOGART Filter Plates.

Glass wool filtration media should be an essential part of your extraction setup. A properly packed glass wool pad provides very high levels of filtration, but still retains a relatively open flow.

We recommend packing glass wool pads on both sides of your molecular sieve columns, as well as in the top and bottom of your material columns.
