With the camber roller assembly, you can easily and accurately introduce a slight camber when sharpening your plane blades. That way, you can avoid those lines you see when flattening a surface with your hand plane because each stroke will blend into the last. Just swap out the stock roller on your Mk. II Honing Guide with the camber roller and you're good to go! The camber roller includes the same eccentric system to quickly adjust for micro bevels.

The Honing Guide is essential for truly sharp chisels and plane blades. This beefy guide will accommodate chisel bodies up to 2?-in wide by up to /16-in thick(if the chisel is beveled ). The relatively soft, and wide, brass roller will not damage your stones like some other steel roller guides. Also, the roller is mounted on an offset pin which allows you to adjust the Heightt of the guide above the stone. This guide is as beautiful as it is functional.
