Multiple Grooves Sharpening Stone

The Razorri Solido C3 wood carving sharpening stone kit enables you to safely and easily sharpen and polish all of your wood carving blades and instruments.

Dull blades are not only ineffective but are also dangerous to you and those around you. With our two double-sided Alumina Oxide sharpening stones you can take pride in having blades so sharp you can shave the hairs off your arm. Our stones don't require fancy oils to use, just some standard tap water is enough to lubricate your blade as it moves across the sharpening stone

400 Grit Stone
Repairs and corrects damaged knives or chipped blades as it will remove more material from the blade.

1000 Grit Stone
Good for general-use sharpening and maintenance or adding a mirror polish to your blades.

Bamboo Base
Holds the stones in place while the silicone bottom helps prevent slipping while you sharpen.

Step 1
Soak the sharpening stone in water for 10-15 minutes. Insert the sharpening stone into the rubber holder, then the bamboo base.

Step 2
Choose the appropriate groove, then sharpen the outside edge of your blade with the 400 gritstone.

Step 3
Keep the same angle and sharpen the inside edge to remove burrs created in the last step.

Step 4
Repeat steps 2-3 on the 1000 grit sharpening stone until there are no more dull marks or burrs on the blade edge.

The multiple grooves on the stone allow you to find the perfect fit for any triangular or round chisel, gouge, or another kind of woodworking tool. If you have a straight blade you can flip the stone over and use the flat side so you don’t need two separate stones. The 400 grit is better for repairing damaged knives or removing chips as it will grind away more material from the blade. The 1000 grit is good for general-use sharpening and adding polish to your blade.

ADDITIONAL TIPS:

Be patient and take your time while sharpening, it could take up to an hour to sharpen depending on how dull or damaged your blade has become.
If the stone starts to feel dry or you feel too much friction, spray a splash of water to the stone.
Wipe with a dry cloth and wait til the stones are dry before storage. This will help extend the lifespan of the sharpening stones.
